This architectural exterior was created using a set of 2D plans. All modelling, texturing, rendering and lighting done in Blender. Final composite with Nuke.
The challenge was to create something that looked visually like traditional architectural visualisations, but also rendered fast. This was achieved using instancing, geometry nodes, and leveraging Blenders Nvidia AI intergration. The scene in its totallity contains just over 1 million polygons. This includes all the geometry. Render times were around 20 seconds/frame. All done using opensource Blender software.
Short 3D animation here.
