3D render of White Mustang GT

This model was created for the Bronco motor corp. The concept being to take the lines and key features on the 1966 Mustang GT, and refine it with a "newer"look.

The model was created in Blender3D, some features like the rims and tyres were modelled in Rhinoceros3D. I wanted to pay special attention to the lighting on this piece. So I used traditional studio lighting techniques, as used in product photography.

The challenge with modelling automotive surfaces in Blender, is the Subdiv modifier, doesn't quite behave the same way as the turbo smooth, in 3DSMax, or adding "divisions" in Maya. So this required extra modelling tweaks once the model was split up.

The renders were relatively fast at about 25 seconds a frame, and required very little post process work
