Luxury residential architectural visualization created using BlenderPhotorealistic render of a luxury apartment block, carried out from floor plans and elevations. This project was created entirely in Blender3D.

Using a mix of natural and artificial light to simulate a dusk scene, to show of some of the interiors as well as exterior of the development. The concept is simple but luxury, hence the use of a few materials like brick and paint.

The challenge here was the lighting, Blender's native GI, takes a somewhat brute force approach, so you have to be mindful, of what surfaces are in close proximity to others. Initially I ended up with green artifacts which I could not identify the origin of. Turned out it was my grass geometry casting light onto surrounding areas. Some adjustments and tweaks made there to reduce that.

Another tricky aspect was the ies lights. Natively in Vray and Corona, there are native IES light, "lights". In blender you have to tweak and adjust point lights, which is abit clunky. But with the right tweaks I could get the IES light and colour correct.
